For this package we have paired the Technics SL-1200GR Turntable with our often recommended cartridge the Ortofon 2M Blue premount on a blue head shell for easy installation.  

Technics developed the SL-1200GR with the coreless direct-drive motor and precise motor control technology coupled with a low-vibration, high-rigidity platter and high-sensitivity tonearm.  This resulted in a rich robust sound that hits way above its price tag.
